  5. One thing I could do with my character is to do my best to convey the emotional change that happens between the beginning and the end of the scene when alister comes home. It’s starting to feel rehearsed and I need to make it feel real for me first, before it can be believed by the audience. Also, I juts need to find I new way to do everything basically lol. It feels too rehearsed.

  8. I think responsibility plays a key role in what I can do to support this one act through state. From making sure I have all of my costumes and props, to holding myself responsible for my performance, to keeping on track with the schedule, I know that holding myself accountable for all of my actions will benefit the group. I can also work to prefect my characters up until the performance and never go into rehearsal with a “good enough” mentality.

  15. I think everybody is going to be trying their hardest at acting, managing, lights, and sound, but it's gonna take more than that to win state. We need to remember to be respectful at ALL TIMES. That means wherever we go and whatever we're doing, we need to remember that we're representing Shallowater High and that we're the absolute best of the best. There needs to be absolutely no drama on this trip. Yes we're going to go and have fun, but we need to have winning on our minds the whole time. I, myself, will try to be a representation of everything I just mentioned. We're going to do amazing.

  17. I will be a responsible stage manager and make sure that everyone is calm and ready for each scene on stage. I will make sure that everything is organized and that we have everything we need for the show. I promise to do the best of my ability to make everyone’s life easier and not so crazy. As a stage manager, my job is to get everyone ready and encourage them before they go out on that stage, and that is exactly what I will do. Let’s go represent Shallowater High school at state!!!!!
