My sound was a little static where you could not hear it behind the set. So we have moved it since then to the side of the stage.Accents need to stay all the time during the play.
I think this was a very uplifting and important clinic. He really gave us some great tips, and showed us how to use duality. I will pay more attention backstage to get down all costume changes. We definitely need work, but we’re making great progress
I felt like this performance was a good marker for where we are, but it’s not even close to what we can be. even since then my character has already changed a lot, so let’s keep evolving!
I loved Lou’s clinic and I think he helped us a lot of ways! I liked his ideas about the letter scene that way we can all discover the news together and I think it will look really cool! If we keep pushing ourselves and work together I think that this can be a great play!
this clinic was very important and helpful to our journey. i think lou gave some amazing critiques that will constantly keep improving our play the more we think about them. we definitely still have things to work on but if we keep our mindset good and work hard we can go all the way
Make sure actors keep accents consistent the whole time especially when switching characters. It’s always a good idea to get new ideas from outside sources to get fresh ideas on scenes that seem old. Take Lou’s critiques to heart because they are helping the play become more realistic with every scene we work
I agree with Carter’s comment! It’s always helpful when we get critiques from other people and to hear their opinion on our play. We need to all take his critiques to heart and build from there. We are doing amazing! Let’s keep up the work!
I think this was our best performance so far! And it was because we were all in character before the show. We need to pick out certain rehearsals that we can focus on and be in the zone. And definitely for contest we have to be in full character. Read over your character sketch before the show, know your character ins and outs. The acting is what’s going to take us there!
Lou’s clinic was super helpful for the actors benefit and the crews I think because he just gave us reassurance about the set and how they acting was going. So excited to see improvement from everyone
I need to really invest in my family and show both sides of my coin I am sad but happy a hard thing to pin down but I'm willing thanks to Lou. I want our family to become more intact
We really need to get the timing of the gunshot down, I think the more we work on that the better we’ll be at it muscle memory is what will get us there

ReplyDeleteI think I could be more creepy in my first scene by looking up and shaking. I need to also work on my accent.
ReplyDeleteI think I should work on making more critiques and tell them to actors so they can apply and use them for each rehearsal and improve!
